普段のレッスンの成果を腕試しをする場として、様々なコンクールや検定がありますが、

私たちは「英国王立音楽検定（ABRSM）」をお勧めしています。

We recommend our students to take ABRSM music exams.

 

 

毎年春と秋に検定が行われ、毎回多数の合格者を出しています。

（優（distinction）の成績を取る生徒もいます！）

長年にわたり指導を重ね、これまでにグレード1～7までの合格者を輩出しました。

The examinations are held every spring and autumn in Japan,

and we have a large number of successful applicants each time.

 この検定ではただ単に楽器を弾くだけではなく、

スケールや初見演奏を兼ね備えているのが大きなポイントです。

一見地味にも見えてしまいがちな基礎的な能力を丁寧に伸ばしていくことで、

しっかりとした音楽の基礎力が育ち、

将来に渡って自分の力で音楽を楽しめるようになると考えています。

 

グレードへの挑戦は子供たちにとっても緊張するものですが、

イギリスから来た試験官の先生に笑顔で迎えられながら、

リラックスして試験を受けているようです。

試験結果と共に、今後また頑張ろうと思えるような、

試験官からのあたたかい直筆のコメントも受け取ることができます。

The main point of this examination is that

it combines scales and "Sight Reading", not just playing an instrument.

It is important to carefully develop these basic skills,

which at first glance may seem unimportant.

 

In this way, they will develop solid basic musical skills

and be able to enjoy music on their own in the future.

 

The grade challenge can be a nerve-wracking experience for children.

However, the smiling faces of the examiners from the UK

helped them to relax and enjoy the exam.

 

Along with the results, the children also receive

a warm and personal comment from the examiner

to encourage them to try again in the future.
